Building Earth Farm - Naturally Raised Meat and Poultry

Building Earth Farm was started by Jason Hurst and Jen Johnson in 2007, providing naturally raised, pastured poultry and eggs to customers on the Steamboat Island Peninsula and throughout Thurston County.  In the years since, they've expanded their practices to include raising turkey, lamb and pork.  Iris Johnson-Hurst joined the family in June of 2009 and has been a true farm girl from the start, hanging out with Mom and Dad at her first poultry harvest within months of arriving on the planet.

Madrona Grove Summer Fruit Stand features Washington's finest summer fruits and vegetables.

Michael Manos and Jeannine Anderson moved to the farm in the fall of 2008, bringing their long-exercised passion for growing food with them to work with Jason and Jen to expand the gardens.  In the summer of 2010, they also moved their 10 year old business, Madrona Grove Summer Fruit Stand, to the farm.
